Diane's Reef is always a Guanaja diving favorite. Usually there are fish everywhere and a few "friendly" nurse sharks around who get curious. One of my go-tos.
Notes from The Dive Instructor.
Diane’s is one of a series of reefs located on the Northern side of the Island. On this dive – I’d like to give a shoot out to my good friends at Peter WaterSport for going with me and always providing great service!
Diane’s is always an excellent dive filled with fun fish life and wonderful chances for great photos and videos. The reef just always seem to be teeming with life. On this particular dive, I lucked into some really fun and beautiful parrot fish. While most are usually shy – several cooperated for our video shoot.
Little known fact about Diane’s – its actually two walls. Most of the time we dive the inner wall which keeps us in the 40-60 foot depth range. But for those seeking adventure and an opportunity to potentially see big pelagic – the outer wall will get you as deep as 140 (and maybe beyond). I personally find my happy place on the inner wall where I can easily look into every sponge and barrel coral to see if there is anything exciting happening. ~ Happy Diving!
