One of the best parts of visiting Guanaja is the SCUBA Diving!
Guanaja’s reef system is part of the Mesoamerican Reef, the second largest reef system in the world second only to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
I’ve traveled the World and the Seven Seas. What sets Guanaja apart from other dive destinations I’ve traveled to is its unique topography. Unlike some destinations where the dive sites are very similar, Guanaja has it all. From underwater caves and labyrinths to Wall dives and easy shallow water beginner dives. Each side of the Island is known for different types of diving – and you will never get bored.

I’m a PADI IDC Staff Instructor certified as a professional diver since 2008. I’m truly blessed to call Guanaja my home dive base.
I formerly taught at a dive center in Houston, Texas, where I specialized in working with some of our most difficult students. I firmly believed that if I could help my students feel safe and overcome any fears, they would find a passion. And most of the time – that proved correct.
So much so that one day one of my students said “You’re not a dive instructor – you’re a dive experience”. And the nickname stuck.
